Northwest Nazarene University is partnering with Drug Free Idaho Inc. and KTVB Channel 7 in presenting the Idaho music video premiere “UR Choice, UR Voice” featuring Milton Creagh, a nationally known motivational speaker.

The video stars Isaiah Washington, former Grey’s Anatomy star, and features Grammy Award Winning Producer Izzy Avila and national recording artists Sam Salter. This modern video extols the virtues of making positive choices regarding drugs and alcohol, and will be presented at the Brandt Center.  NNU will be taping a live talk show featuring Milton Creagh regarding the negative impact of substance abuse on family life.  In addition to NNU students, the event will be open to key stakeholders and groups such as drug court graduates, family members, recovery program leaders and Hispanic groups.

Creagh initially offered corporate training programs focused on managing a multicultural workforce, team-building and teamwork before dedicating his career to motivational speaking specializing in the areas of diversity, substance abuse prevention, work/family balance, leadership dynamics and personal potential development.  From the beginning of his career working with PRIDE (Parent Resource Institute for Drug Education, a non-profit youth organization), to his role as host of a parent-to-parent program, the demand for Creagh’s presence by schools across the country has grown exponentially. In fact, Creagh emerged as a leading spokesperson on these issues and speaks to over 200,000 people annually conducting workshops in 49 states, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Canada. Creagh’s popularity has grown not only because addresses the hard core issues, but he personally challenges and connects his audiences, no matter the age, to tackle the problems of drugs, alcohol and violence.  Creagh has previously spoken in the Treasure Valley and has made a positive impact.

The event is October 21, 7 pm at NNU’s Brandt Center, 707 Fern Street.  Seating is limited; first come first serve.  This event is for audiences thirteen years old and up.  For more information please contact Sally Craven at scraven@ktvb.com.
