Successful NNU Alumni in the Spotlight

Northwest Nazarene University Alumni, Hollie Lindner and Ashley Bruce, were recently recognized by well-known publications.  The Idaho Business Review named Hollie Lindner as one of the “2009 Idaho Accomplished under 40 Recipients,” and Ashley Bruce was featured in a Forbes Woman magazine article highlighting her success at age 25 as a successful business manager.

Lindner received the award based on her professional accomplishments, long-term goals, civic involvement, and leadership. The Idaho Business Review will recognize Hollie Lindner during an awards dinner Tuesday, June 23 at the Boise Centre on the Grove.  The official details of Lindner’s accomplishment will be featured Monday, May 11 in a print article of the Idaho Business Review and online at www.idahobusiness.net  As an honored recipient of this award, Lindner will also be profiled in a magazine to be published June 22.

The Spring 2009 Forbes Woman article highlighted Ashley Bruce’s leadership in the SIFE (Student’s in Free Enterprise) program at Northwest Nazarene University. Bruce currently works with 14 other employees and managers on her field sales team in Pleasanton Calif. to drive profits and sales for Campbell’s soups and other brands.  The article speaks of how Bruce is active in the northern California chapter of the women of Campbell networking group and how she intends to continue with her business education.
