Northwest Nazarene University’s School of Theology and Christian Ministry held its annual Theology Night on April 6. The event honors top performing students in the school and, this year, awarded over $220,000 in scholarships.

Notable awards this year include top senior sermon award winner Katie Voelker (Kirkland, Wash.); top theology paper winners Jonathon Falkenstein (West St. Paul, Minn.) and Joseph Sumi (Shoreline, Wash.); and faculty honor award winner Robert Carlson (Colorado Springs, Colo.).

The evening concluded with a tribute to retiring philosophy professor Dr. Edwin Crawford. Crawford has been a faculty member for 33 years and was honored by both former and current faculty.
