
The Master of Business Administration in Health Care degree program (MBA-HC) covers the functional areas of business and prepares graduate students for business leadership within the health care industry. The delivery of the program is designed for the working adult who is willing to commit to an intensive period of study covering 16-18 months.
Program Summary - The MBA in Health Care cohort will undertake a customized MBA curriculum developed by NNU’s School of Business in conjunction with Treasure Valley hospitals, insurers, and medical community. The curriculum will include topics and skills common to a regular MBA course of study but will focus particularly on needs, issues and skills relevant in the health care industry. The Master of Business Administration in Health Care graduate will be equipped to undertake management responsibility in the various sectors (payor, provider, professional) of the health care business community.

• The MBA in Health Care program began in March 2007. The last start date when new students will be admitted into the existing cohort is July 16, 2007.
• Enrollment is limited to 24 students.
• The classes are on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-10 p.m.
• Significant reading will be required for all courses.
• Students enrolling in the cohort and successfully studying on the recommended schedule will complete their course of study in 16 months.
Students will generally take two courses at a time, with courses lasting for nine sessions each. Counting the online coursework and offline studying required, the typical MBA student will spend 25-35 hours per week involved with the program.
