Communication

The Communication major has two tracks to choose from: Public Relations and Comm Science.

Both tracks give students a great foundation in the many faces of communication: interpersonal, small group, public, and mass communication.  Students then build on that foundation with one of the two specialties:

The Public Relations track is for those who want to put their communication skills into practice as PR specialists, organizational or corporate media specialists, event planners, press secretaries, political campaign organizers, or in helping non-profit organizations -- and lots of other possibilities.

The Comm Science track allows students to specialize in research, teaching, corporate consulting, communication strategy, marketing, and graduate work.
