The Inauguration of the twelfth University President is a special time in the history of Northwest Nazarene University. Inauguration events commence Thursday, March 12, with a President's Luncheon. This invitation-only event is intended for civic and business leaders. NNU's 95-year presence in the Treasure Valley will be featured along with a look at the Treasure Valley of tomorrow and what awaits those of us who call this great state home. The presentation will consider what we want to become, what legacy we want to leave our children and how we shape our quality of life. Our aim will be to determine what part Northwest Nazarene University will play in our standard of living.
The Inauguration Ceremony will be Thursday evening in the Swayne Auditorium located in the Brandt Center with a reception following in the Johnson Sports Center. President Alexander will give the Inaugural address, Renewing Our Covenant, Seeking His Kingdom. Seating is limited; please call 208-467-8530.
The celebration concludes Friday, March 13. Dr. Scott Daniels, alumnus and Senior Pastor of Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene, will deliver the Inaugural Chapel message, Seeking His Kingdom. Following chapel, three Inaugural chapel lunch forums will assemble on campus, providing discussion opportunities for panels of students, faculty and pastors considering the question—How does NNU seek and establish the Kingdom?
