Northwest Nazarene University is located in Nampa, Idaho (population 80,000), which provides a safe, small-town atmosphere. Additionally, NNU is just minutes away from Boise, Idaho’s capital city, and the advantages of a large urban area. The Boise Valley supports a number of music and cultural groups such as Ballet Idaho, the Boise Philharmonic, and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival.
NNU is also within driving distance of the world-renowned Sun Valley ski resort, beautiful McCall, the stunning Snake River, breathtaking Snake River Canyon (site of Evil Knievel’s notorious attempted motorcycle jump), nearby Bogus Basin ski resort, and the serene Salmon River.
