Greetings from the Dean of Health and Science:
The School of Health and Science was formed for students to pursue careers in all science and health related disciplines. Our school consists of six departments and 15 majors in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Kinesiology, Mathematics, Nursing and Physics/Engineering. Graduates from these majors range form Harvard physicians to space shuttle astronauts.
The School of Health and Science prides itself of educating students to be God’s redemptive agent in an ever changing world. Your education at NNU will never be outdated and will be a stepping stone to medical or graduate school or for moving directly into a career. Our Pre-Med program is highly regarded and offers a greater than 90% acceptance rate into medical school. Students wishing to attend graduate programs have even higher acceptance rates, nearing 100%! Our nursing graduates normally secure excellent positions before graduation. The science research program has both internal and external funding for undergraduates to perform independent research with faculty during the school year and in the summer with paid fellowships.
