Welcome To Ford Hall


Congratulations on your choice to attend Northwest Nazarene University. Be prepared for a busy but very exciting year. You have been assigned to Ford Hall, a freshman women's residence hall. Each wing of the residence hall has a staff committed to helping you have a successful first year at NNU! We have been planning since March and can't wait to meet each of you!

ROOM SIZE: 13'4" x 21'4"
WINDOWS: 7'4" wide blinds provided
ACCOMODATES: 200 female students (includes the 8 Resident Assistants)

EACH WING HAS:
• Bathroom
• Laundry Room
• Lobby (each designated for a different purpose)
   1st Floor Lobby: Entrance to residence hall, RA Office/Lounge, Resident Director   Apartment, Vending Machines
   2nd Floor Lobby: Study Lounge, Computer Lab
   3rd Floor Lobby: Kitchenette & TV Lounge
   4th Floor Lobby: Game Room, Piano

EACH ROOM HAS:
• Phone hook-up with voice mail system (provide your own phone)
• A/C and heat
• Sink with a counter, drawers, and under-sink space, mirror, and towel rack
• Computer hook-up, network connection
• Blinds
• Carpet
• Map rail (cork strip) around each room on which to hang things

Modular (moveable) furniture:
• 2 Loft beds - extra long twin mattress may be positioned at different heights (tool-less system)
• 2 Wardrobes
• 2 Dressers
• 2 Chairs
• 2 Desks

**PLEASE NOTE: Academic Advising highly recommends leaving TV's, VCR's, Nintendo/Playstation Systems, etc. at home first semester, to facilitate an optimum transition to university life, both academically and socially.
