On this page you'll find a number of resources that can assist you with your club or student-led organization.  Whether you are just starting out or your club has been around for awhile, this page will give you the tools and tips you need to be succesful.

Starting A Club

Interested in starting a club or organization on campus?  First of all you need to have a few people who share the same interest.  There is no minimum number of members required, although it helps to have several people willing to share the workload.  A successful club needs a little organization and a lot of communication.  The following documents (WORD documents) will help you get started:

Once you've downloaded and familiarized yourself with what it takes to start a club, then you'll want to sit down with the Director of Campus Life or the SGA Executive Vice President and move ahead.

The Role of an Advisor

Every club, council, and student organization must have an advisor.  An advisor can be any full time employee of the University who serves in a faculty, staff, or administrative personnel position.  For more information about the role your advisor is encouraged to take in your organization, please download the following document:
