Student Center Director

As my roommate snoozes on the couch next to me, the soft whir of the air conditioning whispers sweet nothings in my ears, and my apartment is one cardboard box away from looking like a war zone, I cannot help but stop and thank the Lord for directing my life back here to NNU for my fifth year. Fifth year?!? That’s right! Because sometimes God has a really clever way of humbling us, showing us that what we had mapped out for our lives is maybe not the best, and that no matter where we are or how long it took us to get there, He has us in the palm of his hands. So you find me here, milking this wonderful college experience and making the most of it. I am a nursing major, born and raised in Salem, Oregon, with a heart for simple country life, traveling, people, athletics and creating amazing memories that will help us all look back at these four (or six) years of our lives and know that they were some of the best. NNU is a wonderful place to grow- spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally and it has been very influential in shaping who I am today. As your Student Center Director, I am thrilled to be in charge of planning our fortnightly Wednesday Night Live events- a time to discover new music, play goofy games, unearth hidden talents, and simply forget about homework for an hour and enjoy some entertainment. The student center is there for your complete enjoyment- so move the couches, turn the TV’s on, grab a coffee from the Perk and enjoy hanging out with your buddies. If you have any ideas for fun activities or general aesthetic improvements, feel free to let me know! I look forward to providing you with engaging activities and a warm place to hang out in hopes that you will create heaps of phenomenal memories and discover that NNU is the place for you!
