Good day NNU Community! My name is Kelsey Shacklett and I am a senior (okay get ready for this too long major description...) Secondary Education major with an emphasis in Kinesiology, history, and health. I am originally from appleville USA, or better known as Okanogan, Washington. I have two amazing parents, and two crazy sisters. I am a die-hard Seattle Mariners fan and really believe this could be their year to take it all...I have been dreaming this same dream since about the third grade. Here is a really quick rundown of other things I really love: Jesus, basketball, sunscreen, book reviews, black coffee, a great movie, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, cereal, and NNU!

NNU has provided me so many amazing experiences. I was able to be an RA, work for the women's basketball team, become an intramural champion (get it Storm powderpuff football!) and serve as SGA Athletic Liaison. This upcoming year I am so excited to serve as SGA secretary. I like to think of the secretary as organizer of SGA, a major job I have is to keep meeting minutes and make sure everybody is up to-date. I also work with the vice-president to keep everything running smoothly at senate, and also to keep YOU, the students, informed as well. If there is a job, I jump in and help out. I am so excited to be on the SGA team and look forward to this upcoming year. Its going to be brilliant.
