Hello! I was born in Kansas City, KS in July of 1990 while my parents were attending Nazarene Theological Seminary. Three months after my birth my parents were commissioned to serve as missionaries to the Philippines. they served there for 5 years, after which they were asked to take over the work of the church in Ukraine. In 1995 my family moved to Kiev, Ukraine and has lived there ever since. I attended Kiev Christian Academy, an international school for the children of missionaries. It was there that I saw the incredible positive impact that educators could make on the lives of students in such a unique setting. I am in my third year studying to be an English teacher and hope to teach at an international school at some point in my life.
