Ford Hall

About Ford: Ford Hall is a four-story hall for our female freshmen students.  There are four lobbies in the building (one on each floor) and two elevators as well as stairs. Lobby amenities include quiet study space, printer, group study space, two kitchens, Direct TV, lounges, vending machines, piano and games. Each wing offers bathrooms and laundry facilities. Bike racks are available at entrance of hall.

  • Command strips for walls (removable sticky strips)

What to leave: Toasters/Toaster Ovens, Candles, Animals (except fish)

Amenities

Ford offers a number of items in each room for student use. Besides having private lobbies equipped with kitchen appliances, TVs and cable access, rooms include:

  • A/C and heat
  • Sink with a counter, drawers, and under-sink space, mirror, and towel rack
  • Computer hook-up, network connection
  • Blinds (7'4")
  • Carpet
  • Map rail (cork strip) around each room on which to hang things
  • 2 Loft beds - extra long twin mattress may be positioned at different heights (tool-less system)

Wing Teams

Each wing team in the freshmen residence halls is comprised of a live-in Resident Assistant, a Life Group Leader who serves to grow spiritual life, and a Peer Mentor and Peer Health Educator, who each serve as representative of NNU's Wellness Center.
