Residential Habilitation

DESCRIPTION

If you are looking for a rewarding job, Community Connections, Inc. is the place. We work with individuals with developmental disabilities and we need your help! We are looking to hire for Full time and Part-Time positions within our Residential Habilitation program. Positions may include day shifts, swing shifts, and sleeping and awake graveyard shifts. You will work with and support individuals with their daily living skills (i.e. meal preparation, cooking safety, hygiene, household tasks, behavior management, medication management, money management skills, etc.). We are looking for motivated employees who are able to meet job expectations. A willingness to work with a variety of individuals is a requirement (i.e. individuals with maladaptive / aggressive behaviors, individuals with medical needs, toileting / bathing needs, etc. Compensation is competitive and will depend on experience working in the Developmental Disability field.

We have perfect FT and PT shifts for college students. We can work with your school for credits, internship (i.e. "unpaid" through your College or University), or for a work release program.

Additionally, we will provide the training, support and teamwork you need to be successful. If you are looking for a rewarding career...please apply! Being already "Assistance with Medication" certified and current CPR/First Aid certified is a plus (but not required to apply).

Position includes mileage reimbursement (upon hire) and Paid Personal Leave benefits (after finishing a 6 month probationary period and are full time).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in a call center environment.

Informs customers about services available and assesses customer needs.

Prepares standard reports to track workload, response time and quality of input.

Assists in planning and implementing department goals and makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

All other duties as assigned.

 Direct Care Staff Needed (Treasure Valley)

Direct Care Staff is a position for those that want to work with adults with developmental disabilities providing companion care, redirect behavior, implement programs, teach independence, clean the house, prepare meals, take grocery shopping, help the participants make wise decisions and cope with the symptoms of their diagnosis. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Some responsibilities may include assistance in the following areas: arranging schedules; make appointments, grocery shopping, assist with personal hygiene tasks if needed, balance and budget money, and other duties as assigned. Employer will provide 32 hours of training, so previous experience is not required.

Full-time shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. The shifts run from Sunday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Saturday. Part-time: (32 hr/wk) shifts from Friday-Monday, and other part-time shifts working with either children or adults.
