POSITION	Program Intern
DESCRIPTION	The program intern works in tandem with the Program Director and works on planning, promoting and carrying out the programs at Cascades Camp & Conference Center. The program intern will participate and receive training in the areas of programming, leadership development and training, marketing, promotion and how to incorporating one’s faith into all aspects of life—in this case, the workplace. The ministry of Cascades depends on the sincere faith, honest leadership, humble wisdom and patient maturity of those who work together to “make camp happen.” Interns also spend time in group devotional time and Bible study with other interns and staff members. As a part of the Cascades internship program, we expect that interns work with their supervisors and fellow interns to grow their own skills. Supervisors will also provide insight into where there is room for growth as well as where interns exceed in these areas. Interns will be given opportunities to exercise these skills during their time at Cascades.
DUTIES	Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation of marketing & promotional materials, general summer planning, interviewing summer staff applicants, website maintenance, cleaning of camp facilities, assisting in guest group services, & other duties as assigned.
