POSITION | Homedale Neighborhood, INC. Internship |
DESCRIPTION | HNI is seeking 2 interns for the 2009-2010 school year. Learning opportunities will provide after school students with hands-on experience working with a nonprofit organization. Learning will include lesson planning and teaching, activity supervision, and event planning. |
DAYS/HOURS | The internship will coincide with the NNU academic schedule (excluding finals week). First semester Sept. 1 - Dec. 12 / Second semester Jan. 12 - April 30. Weekly commitment of 5 hrs./wk. This may be fulfilled in a way that fits the interns schedule, either through afternoon programs Mon.-Thurs. or through Saturday field trips. An average schedule would be two afternoons per week from 3:30-5:00, and one Sat. activity a month. |
COMPENSATION | ~Each intern shall receive a $1500 scholarship |
