The New York Media Experience Program, now in its 9th year, offers undergraduate students a rigorous full-time semester-long study/internship in the media capital of the U.S. This program was specifically created for undergraduate students and only operates during Fall & Spring semesters. Students are enrolled in a 400+ hour internship & also take two 3-credit online courses.

To Write Love on Her Arms aims to fight the stigma and shame that keeps people feeling hopeless and alone.  We hope to be a continual inspiration and help for those who are taking steps toward recovery from issues of depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. At To Write Love On Her Arms, we believe we can do this by bringing people together and by meeting people where they are, in person and online. The goal of the internship program is to facilitate a community of people willing and equipped to live out the TWLOHA mission. Primarily, the Intern Program exists to aid our organization in our goal of connecting others to help and to community.

DUTIES

Internship duties include the management and development of our Street Team, MySpace and Info accounts. We place interns within departments based on their skill sets in areas such as Graphic Design, Communications, UChapters, Events, Office Administration, and Policy & Research. Our office is based in Cocoa, FL and serves as the home base of TWLOHA. Interns help us keep the office running and assist us in everything we do here. We are currently working on lots of new projects, and our interns will be given a large amount of responsibility within the implementation and development of these new ventures.

Video Production Internship

DESCRIPTION

Shoot and edit video for the ACSO, giving them an opportunity for hands-on learning about corporate video production while also getting cool access to law enforcement!  Using state-of-the art video camera and editing software.  The primary project would be to shoot and edit a 3-5 minute video about one aspect of the ACSO.  The intern would choose their focus-patrol, recruiting, jail tour, etc.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
