Association of Challenge Course Technology:

ACCT is a trade organization, serving Challenge Course Professionals all over the world. The purpose of the association is to promote the use of Challenge Courses and to set minimum standards for Challenge Course installation, operation and inspection. Note: NNU's Challenge Course management staff are members of this association and our High and Low Elements on the Course are inspected and certified annually by *ACCT approved vendors.

Association for Experiential Education: 

The mission of the Association for Experiential Education is to develop and promote experiential education. The Association is committed to support professional development, theoretical advancement, and evaluation of experiential education worldwide.

Cornerstone Designs, Inc.:

Cornerstone Design Inc. (CDI), led by a passion for experiential education, has assembled some of the industry's leading Challenge Course builders, trainers, safety specialists and authors. Note: Cornerstone Design Inc., was responsible for the initial inspection and certification of NNU's Challenge Course.

lapdog, inc.:

lapdog, inc. provides challenging experiences to help the leader continue to learn and develop.  Whether through challenge courses, climbing or caving, participants are faced with learning opportunities allowing them to pursue greater leadership potential. Note: lapdog, inc. conducted the initial on-site building and training of NNU's Challenge Course.

Prairie View Process Solutions:

Process Solutions is the consulting, training, and research division of Prairie View, a non-profit psychiatric hospital and network of outpatient behavioral health facilities serving Kansas for over 50 years. They provide assessment tools, Capabilities Awareness Profile (CAP), and Perceived Competency of Functioning Inventory (PCFI) that assess and track changes in self and relational competencies. Process Solutions also specialize in experiential and adventure based programming and operate an on-campus ropes challenge course.

Project Adventure:

The mission of Project Adventure an innovative teaching organization is to provide leadership in the expansion of Adventure-based experiential programming. Project Adventure seeks to develop responsible individuals, productive organizations and sustainable communities.

Team Synergo:

Synergo is an organization that empowers youth and adults to empower themselves. Team Synergo offers experiential programming, facilitator trainings, designs, installs and inspects challenge courses throughout the West and is a Professional Vendor Member (PVM) of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). Note: *Synergo is presently a certified inspector of NNU's Challenge Course and indoor climbing wall.


Wilderdom refers to "natural living" and explores human - nature relations seeking sustainable solutions to modern- living. Note: This website is an excellent resource for adventure-based outdoor games, and activities.
