Welcome to the Brandt Center on the NNU Campus

Artistry comes alive at the John and Orah Brandt Fine Arts and Convocation Center.  This modern architectural masterpiece houses the 1,500-seat Swayne Auditorium, The Friesen Art Galleries, two luxurious VIP suites, a number of well-appointed support spaces, and the exquisite 9,000 square-foot Grand Lobby.  The venue showcases work by artists from the University, the local community, and from around the world.

Great Performances

Since it's opening in 1997, the Brandt Center's Swayne Auditorium has offered engaging, family-friendly, and highly entertaining performances to the Treasure Valley community. Our stage has been graced by performances ranging from the joyous strains of Handel's “Messiah,” to the thundering rhythm of the Trinity Irish Dance Company; from the precision and passion of the Boise Philharmonic, to the comic operetta of Gilbert and Sullivan's “The Pirates of Penzance;” even the nostalgic barber-shop harmonies of the Boise Valley Chordsmen have resonated from the rafters of this amazing facility.

Great Art

The Friesen Galleries facilitate our human ability to express and communicate aesthetic awareness.  The Galleries provide a visual education whereby students enhance their appreciation for art, and an environment for encouraging their artistic skills and talents.
