Monday and Tuesday (First flight day!)
Monday was the last day to get everything on our box ready to fly. We then had the TRR (test readiness review) which is the final big review by all the NASA engineers. Our team flew through the TRR and had no problems at all! The experiment was then loaded on the Zero g plane and strapped down.

Weekend!
NASA is not open on the weekend, so we had a great chance to explore Houston. On Saturday, we visited a corvette show, then met up with some family friends of Kevin, Chuck and Fran Ramey. They took us out to a wonderful Texas dinner and then we got to go to a night service at their church. After church, we went to their house to watch the Final Four, play games, and spend the night. The next day, the Rameys gave us a great tour of Houston which ended with a great Texas BBQ! Thank you for the great weekend Chuck and Fran!!!!!
Some amazing Corvettes!
The Sharptons. Looking good as always.

Day 2!
This is a plane that we watched astronauts get into and take off. There is only one other plane in the world like this. It is used to study clouds at 60, 000 feet!

Day 1!
Texas day 2: It has been a great experience so far. This morning we kicked things off by removing our 320lb project from our second floor hotel room. That was a very interesting experience. We reached our destination around 12:00 and were met by NASA’s weightless wonder VI. We are housed in one of NASA’s massive hangers with an airplane known as the Guppy out back. This massive plane is used to transport anything from wings of airbuses to tanks. We were briefed on the rules for the SEED program and then our team leader headed off to a meeting while we setup our experiment. For dinner we ate at a Chinese buffet with all the other teams. On a funny note……..Dr. Parke was given our receipt for $948.51! Apparently they thought that we were going to pay for the meals for all the teams!! Needless to say, Dr. Parke nearly had a heart attack, but the whole situation was eventually figured out!! Overall, today was an exciting day! We all feel really blessed to be getting this chance to be here in Houston and working with NASA!!!
