02.22Dr. Steve Mountjoy Is Appointed New Dean
Northwest Nazarene University’s President Dr. David Alexander announced the appointment of Dr. Stephen Mountjoy as Dean of the School of Business today. Dr. Mountjoy was previously the Acting Dean, noted in this blog on August 6, 2009.
Dr. Samuel Dunn, Vice President for Academic Affairs, noted Dr. Mountjoy is highly qualified for his responsibilities as Dean. He referred to Dr. Mountjoy’s 18 years experience in business, and his well-credentialed degrees in electrical engineering, mining economics, higher education and adult studies, and Christian studies. Dr. Dunn continued, “Dr. Mountjoy is one of the most informed persons on our campus on the integration of faith and learning.”
Dr. Mountjoy was warmly received by the School of Business faculty and staff.
Steve: Congratulations on your appointment as Dean. It was great to hear your name on the KBOI news this morning. We remember well God’s work in and through you years ago and thank Him for you. God bless in the latest part of the path.
