2011 Alumni Association Awards
The NNU Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce the 2011 annual alumni awards for presentation in a special chapel service on November 4, 2011, during Homecoming & Family Weekend. These recipients richly exemplify NNU's four outcomes in amazing ways from service to the campus community to making a difference around the world. These individuals have some incredible stories to tell us in the days ahead as we celebrate the ways that NNU's impact has been felt both home and away.

Alumni Wall of Missions
For many decades, NNU alumni have taken Jesus' command seriously: their record of service around the world is a testimony to their faithfulness as they have left the comfort of cultural familiarity and taken the gospel where God has led them. NNU recognizes those alumni who have committed to at least one continuous year of their lives in ministry for Christ to people in cross-cultural settings by including their names on our Honor Wall of Missions.
Family Heritage Award
The Family Heritage Award will be presented during Homecoming & Family Weekend to the family of Arthur and Elnora Vail. See profile.
Recipients of the Family Heritage Award are to be alumni families who throughout generations have brought honor and distinction to the University and who have advanced the cause of Christ through their lives and service. Selections for this award will be made by vote of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and will be presented a minimum of every five years and preferably not in consecutive years.
