Students accepted into the RN to BS, Nursing program may transfer credits up to 25% (9 credits) of previously completed baccalaureate level, nursing course work from another accredited institution.
All transfer of baccalaureate level nursing courses as well as transfer of prerequisite courses, must be approved by the RN to BS, Program Director. Any baccalaureate level nursing credits must have been earned within four years preceding the date of admission to NNUís RN to BS, Nursing program. There is no time limit on prerequisite courses needed for admission.
Transfer credits from approved Associate Degrees in nursing will be determined by the NNU Registrar for up to 62 credits and per NNU policy.
All grades for any courses requested to apply as equivalent transfer course credit must be submitted to the Nursing Department for evaluation and determination of equivalent courses.
The Department of Nursing will not accept a pass/fail on courses - all courses must have a letter grade.
