Student Responsibilities

A student is responsible for all tuition and fees for the enrollment period once the first day/night of instruction is attended.  Payment is due in full by the first day of instruction unless arrangements in advance are made with the business office.

A student who must drop a course must do so by calling, stopping by or emailing the APP Business Program Coordinator, who is the Academic Advisor for APP Business Students.  A refund of tuition and fees will be prorated on a per diem basis beginning with the first day of class and continuing for a maximum of 60% of the course.  NO refund is given after 60% of any course has been completed.

If an APP Business Student misses two class sessions of any course or will miss two class sessions of any course, the student will not be able to receive credit for the course and will need to drop the course.  It is the responsibility of the student to notify the APP Business Program Coordinator for the necessary paperwork.  Students that miss two class sessions of any course and do not notify the APP Business Program Coordinator for the paperwork to be completed, will receive a failing grade for the course and be charged for the course.

A student must notify the APP Program Coordinator by email, phone or coming to the office to withdraw from the semester.  The official date of the withdrawal will be the date the withdrawal was requested.  Any charges or refund for the courses will be calculated using that date.

APP Business Students that drop after 75% of the class will receive a failing grade for the course (by 6:00 p.m. the next to the last session for the five and seven week session classes).  Students who drop after 75% of the class will be charged in full for the course.

Each student is responsible for his/her schedule.  The APP-Business Program Coordinator will render needed advising, provide an education plan and semester schedules.  However, the education plan is merely a guide.  Students are expected to review their degree audit at my.nnu.edu on a regular basis.  If students do not take the courses in the sequence specified by the APP-Business Program, no promise or guarantee is made by the APP-Business Program that any course will be available at any time.
