There are a number of significant changes being made to the COS Online Program for the 2011 - 2012 school year.

• First, a student will earn 1 academic credit for each module successfully completed.  These credits are accredited and transferable.

• Second, due to the added credit, modules will no longer be Pass/Fail.  Assignments will be graded on a scale of A through F.  A cumulative grade of D is needed to pass a module.

• Third, the registration procedure is changing.  Students will only need to complete the biographical sections of the registration form once.  After the student has registered the first time, the information becomes resident in the student's permanent file.  In future terms the student need only register for courses they wish to take. 

• Finally, the registration period will open 2 months before the modules begin and close the Friday before courses begin.
