Payment Plans and Financial Aid
TUITION & FEES:
- Tuition costs include student ID card, parking, and graduation fees.
- Tuition rates are established annually by the University.
- Unless noted that books are included, the student is responsible for purchasing textbooks each semester. Visit NNU Bookstore to order online.
DUE DATE: Payment and / or satisfactory financial arrangement of the balance due on a student's account must be completed one week prior to the first day of class. By that date, all student accounts must be covered by a combination of the following:
- Paid in full - pay online at my.nnu.edu
- Enrolled in our interest-free Monthly Payment Plan; contact businessoffice(at)nnu.edu or 208.467.8010
- Employee / Military Benefits: The NNU Business Office must be aware of these benefits in advance of the due date and the benefits must be paid directly to NNU in order for these to be considered a component of satisfactory payment arrangements.
- Employee Benefits: Many companies and businesses offer tuition payment for their employees enrolled in accredited educational programs. Contact the personnel office at your place of employment for more information regarding this potential benefit.
- Veterans/ other Military Benefits: Students who are eligible for benefits must contact the V.A. Administration for details.
- Completed financial aid paperwork and be waiting for disbursement of Federal Direct loans and/or other aid. Please contact Office of Financial Aid for information regarding eligibility and availability of aid.
Note: Any student NOT falling into a combination of the above categories will be charged a $50 late fee. Interest may be applied to unpaid balances at the monthly rate of 1.25%, posted on the last day of each month. A $10 charge will be assessed for each check returned for insufficient funds.
OTHER NOTES:
REFUNDS - If a student receives more financial aid than needed to cover tuition, a request may be made for a refund. Checks are issued each Friday; requests must be submitted by the previous Wednesday.
WITHDRAWALS - Refund of tuition and fees will be prorated on a per diem basis up to 60% of the course. The official date of withdrawal is determined by the Registrar. Students who withdraw from NNU and have received federal financial aid may be required to return all or part of that aid.

Scholarship Information
The following scholarships are independent to any affiliation with NNU.
- Idaho Alliance of Leaders in Nursing (IALN) mission is focused on assuring a quality nursing workforce….by bringing together nursing leaders from education, practice, research and industry to address workforce and workplace issues.
- Health Education and Leadership Program (HELP) provides scholarships to help Idaho residence attain an education in the health care field and to alleviate the local shortage of personnel in the health care professions. HELP awards scholarships to qualifying persons for education and leadership development in health care careers.
- Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides scholarships in exchange for at least two years at a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses.
