Please note that faculty members update their textbook selections periodically. As a result, we encourage students to delay their textbook purchases until receiving a final confirmation each semester for their upcoming courses.

In an effort to help students keep their educational expenses to a minimum, we encourage online students to utilize competitively-priced online booksellers when purchasing textbooks, keeping in mind that used books may also be an option as long as older editions of a text are not yet obsolete. A helpful link to a wide variety of online book dealers is provided in the adjacent margin tabs.

Students will receive an email notice at least one month prior to their course date, confirming the text list for their upcoming course. Students who desire to order their books well in advance should email the program manager before placing an order. When in doubt, students should contact their professors about the suitability of older text editions.

Remember that final text selections can change due to their availability from a publisher or a professor's discretion. Students are expected to take responsibility for the timely acquisition of their textbooks and will be held accountable for the completion of their course work, even if their particular textbook supplier is delayed in shipping one or more books. As a result, students are not encouraged to back order textbooks. Instead, they should locate a competitively priced copy from another supplier who can ensure delivery of that title in a timelier fashion.
