Proposed Online Master of Divinity in Youth, Church & Culture

Let’s face it: the world has changed. So have young people. And their families. In times past, adolescence lasted only a few years. Now it stretches well into the mid- to late-twenties, yet many youth ministers still function as they have for the past generation. Perhaps adolescents are leaving the Church because we are attempting to minister to youth who no longer exist. Northwest Nazarene University is exploring the possibility of adding a graduate program in Youth, Church & Culture to our menu of fully online Master of Divinity and Master of Arts programs.

If approved, students could earn a fully online Master of Divinity degree in as little as 21 months. If you are interested in engaging culturally, theologically, and practically with youth, their families, and social systems, we’d love to hear from you.
