Concurrent Credit Program

The Concurrent Credit Program at Northwest Nazarene University is designed to enrich the educational opportunities of pre-college students who have demonstrated high academic ability. This program unites the services of NNU with high school and home school students offering university-level credits for selected courses administered through NNU and taught at local and online high schools by NNU-approved instructors.  The Concurrent Credit Program is fully accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

NNU Receives High Ranking in USNWR

Northwest Nazarene University once again achieved a high ranking in the U.S. News & World Report; "America's Best Colleges" edition.  The publication released their rankings for 2010 in late August.  http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges

Ranking: Northwest Nazarene University (Top Schools*, No. 54 - West; Nampa, Idaho; David Alexander, president).  NNU received its ranking in the category of Universities-Master's.  Like the national universities, Universities-Master's (as defined by the Carnegie Foundation) provide a full range of undergraduate programs and some master's level programs.  They offer few, if any, doctoral programs.  The 572 universities in this grouping are ranked within four geographic areas: Morth, South, Midwest, and West.  Important note on the Univesities-Master's rankings: The America's Best Colleges rankings are of the entire school focusing on the undergraduate program.  The term Universities-Master's is a label to designate a type of school, not the master's programs at any of the school.  Read More...
