NNU’s new Center for Professional Development in Schools
- Provides on-site assistance to small, rural and urban schools for sustained improvement of instruction and curriculum resulting in student achievement;
- Provides continuing professional development growth opportunities for school district adminstrators;
- Draws from the expertise of local and national education practitioners, based upon best education practice and research;

For example, the Center for Professsional Development in Schools can help

- 5th grade teachers who want to differentiate instruction to be more effective in language arts and reading instruction
- school districts that know they can improve students’ understanding of physical science by providing in-depth professional development for teachers
- principals who want to understand current, effective practices in the evaluation of teacher instruction
