ED 550 Talented and Gifted: Working with High Achievers (2)

This course is designed to help you achieve a better understanding of the talented and gifted student, methods used in identification, and strategies for instruction of these students in an inclusive classroom.  It provides information on the history of the exceptional child in relation to education, current law, and accepted methods for referral, assessment, and identification of these students.  The course also covers major program models and methods of differentiating instruction to meet the rate and level of learning of those students identified.  The software program is designed to be loaded onto the hard drive of your personal computer from a compact disk (CD).

Be sure to indicate if you want Pass/Fail or Graded course.   Please list date you wish to complete under course dates.  The anticipated ending date must be established at the time of registration and that is the date on which grades will be posted, even if the course is completed earlier.
