ED 550 Autism & Asperger's Disorders (2)
This computer-based course is designed to help achieve a better understanding of Autism and Asperger's Disorder. It will explore intervention strategies to enhance communication and learning while teaching more conventional behaviors. It provides information on the characteristics of the disorder, learning styles associated with the disorder, communication weaknesses, and various intervention strategies that have proven to be successful when working with students with autism spectrum disorders. The software program is designed to be loaded onto the hard drive of your personal computer from a compact disk (CD).
Be sure to indicate if you want Pass/Fail or Graded course. Please list date you wish to complete under course dates. The anticipated ending date must be established at the time of registration and that is the date on which grades will be posted, even if the course is completed earlier.
