This online course focuses on helping teachers work with students on key reading skills. The emphasis is on teaching students an explicit, systematic approach to phonics. However, we also address the connections between word attack skills and comprehension as well as using quality literature to inspire young readers. This course is aligned with the Reading-Language Arts Standards and Reading-Language Arts Framework.
