FAQ's :
Q: Do completion of these programs count for teacher continuing education requirements?
A: Every educator who successfully completes any of the Charlotte Danielson online courses will qualify for in-service credit toward recertification based on the completion time estimated in the program. To complete the program each teacher must view all of the video included in the program and successfully pass the multiple-choice assessment at the end of the program.
Completion of the coursework must be documented on the B-7 form. Please visit the State Dept. of Education website and click on Form B-7 for a Printable version. Each teacher will be required to include the Educational Impact “completion certificate” with his or her B-7 form. This certificate can be printed from within the online program once the program’s online assessment has been successfully passed. In addition, through the Educational Impact administrative accountability page, the Idaho State Department of Education will be verifying that each teacher seeking in-service credit has viewed the video in the program.
For those teachers or administrators looking to obtain transcripted graduate professional development university credit, Educational Impact has partnered with Northwest Nazarene University to provide courses specifically designed to align with the online video content. For more information, visit www.educationalimpact.com and click on the “Graduate Credits” button on the menu bar or go directly to NNU's webpages to see course descriptions and online registration information.
