EDAD 5117 ASCD: Creating an Effective Substitute Teacher Program
This course is designed for participants who set up substitute training programs in school districts. Successful programs are comprehensive and provide the following: clear expectations, professional development opportunities, subsequent training sessions, and supervision and feedback procedures. Participants will be provided with the tools to create or improve the substitute training program to address specific district needs, and give substitute teachers an informed voice.
