Transfer Credit for Upper Division Nursing Courses
Students accepted into the RN to BS, Nursing Program may transfer credits up to 25% (9 credits) of previously completed upper division, baccalaureate level nursing coursework from a regionally accredited institution while still meeting NNU's residency requirement of 30 credits at NNU. All transfer of baccalaureate level nursing courses, as well as transfer of non-nursing courses required for the RN to BS, must be approved by the RN to BS, Program Director for determination of equivalency. All baccalaureate level nursing credits must have been earned within four years of admission to the RN to BS, Nursing Program. There is no time limit on prerequisite or non-nursing courses accepted for transfer.
Non-nursing transfer credits for approved Associate Degrees will be determined by the NNU Registrar's Office up to the 62 credits from a community college or 2 year institution per NNU Policy.
