Christian Education Minor

Christian Education Minor

Christian Education prepares students for leadership in both the teaching and discipling ministries of the Church. Preparation includes the ability to effectively teach and communicate the gospel in a changing world and culture.  Students learn how to help people grow toward Christlikeness through educational avenues such as: Bible studies, small groups, faith formation, and discipleship.

Students who are sensing God’s leading toward serving Christ through the educational ministries of the Church can find that a degree in Christian Education will prepare them to serve in a wide variety of vocational ministries either as a lay leader or as an associate pastor. These vocations include:

• Adult Pastor or Ministry Director
• Family Pastor or Ministry Director
• Christian Education Director
• Lay Development & Discipleship Pastor
• Small Groups Director
• Director of Singles Ministry
• Pastor of Discipleship or Assimilation

If you have questions regarding our Christian Education degree, feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mark Maddix
