Philosophy Minor

Objective: Students who graduate with this minor will receive an introduction to the field of philosophy, and will be able to relate elements of its historical development and recognize and apply principles of sound reasoning.

Requirements

PHIL2010. Introduction to Philosophy (3 credits)

Two of the following:

PHIL3010. History of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (3 credits)

PHIL3020. History of Modern Philosophy (3 credits)

PHIL4210. Contemporary Philosophy (3 credits)

PHIL3070. Formal Logic (2 credits)

Electives selected in consultation with advisor (4 credits)
