Philosophy

Welcome to Northwest Nazarene University’s Department of Philosophy, which is one of two departments in the School of Theology & Christian Ministries. 

Our faculty in philosophy are committed to Christian higher education in the tradition of the liberal arts, to preparation for students seeking a major in the discipline of philosophy, to the preparation of women and men seeking a life of ministry in the body of Christ, and to the intellectual development of students across NNU’s campus through the general education program at the university.
