Welcome to the Department of Nursing

We are so excited you’re interested in an education from Northwest Nazarene University's Department of Nursing. Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, our nursing graduates are sought by employers who recognize the superior quality of education these professionals receive. Clinicals in a variety of healthcare facilities throughout the Treasure Valley build on nursing theory learned in the classroom and allow students to gain valuable experience.  Students also benefit from giving back to the community through involvement in NNU's chapter of the Student Nursing Association (SNA).

Beginning in the fall of 2009, NNU’s Department of Nursing will be housed in the new Thomas Family Health and Science Building. The 55,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility will enrich a wide range of enhanced learning experiences.

We wish you the best in your nursing program search process. If you have further questions about the NNU Professional Nursing Program, please feel free to contact us.

The Department of Nursing is located on the second floor of the Thomas Family Health & Science Building.
