Welcome to the Math & C.S. Department!

In mathematics we have majors that prepare you to go to graduate school, work in a math related field, or become a secondary teacher. Our students have had good success in graduate school and finding jobs as teachers. We have a solid program that will give you the foundation that you need in any of those three areas.  Math is also a lot of fun!

The major in computer science has two options. One is a more technical degree while the other allows the student to integrate computer skills with another discipline. All our graduates in computer science have found employment.  The starting salaries in computer science are often quite good. There are many exciting areas of employment in computer-related fields. Some of our former graduates are programmers, web developers, or have started their own businesses. We will give you a good overview of the field of computer science to prepare you to move into any area of employment.
