The Mass Comm program was asked by the City of Nampa to produce a 30 second spot promoting fire safety.  After convincing the city that the spot would best be shot on film, students transformed an abandoned and dilapidated house into a warm and cozy home.  With the help of the Nampa Fire Department, they then placed the actors in the middle of the set and set the house on fire.  Backed by Johnny Cash singing "Burning Rings of Fire,"  the spot uses visual communication to warn viewers about the dangers of fire at home.
