"Through the Eyes of Desdamona"

As part of his thesis project for his Masters Degree in Art, Brandon Hill took a directed study in film from Professor Ytreeide during the summer of 2004.  Students from the Mass Comm program helped Brandon bring his vision to life.
The story is Shakespeare's Othello, as seen through the eyes of Desdemona, Othello's fiance'.  Set to an original song, the film is a haunting reflection of Shakespeare's theme. 

Shot over three days on 16mm under the direction of senior Paul Otremba, Desdemona is just one more example of NNU Mass Comm students learning by doing.
