News anchors, reporters, corporate spokespersons, PR consultants -- many careers in communication require you to speak to large groups or to cameras, prepare effective communication campaigns, or write persuasively.  These are the areas for which the BA in Communication prepares you. 

While allowing you some flexibility depending on your particular goals, the Comm degree is designed to give you an excellent understanding of and skills in the foundations of communicating to the public.  The opportunities to use those skills in the workplace are literally endless.
