Dr. Samuel Dunn Vice President for Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs at Northwest Nazarene University is charged with oversight of five academic schools, a Center for Extended University Services, and the quality of the learning experience of students at Northwest Nazarene University. This responsibility includes initiatives in Assessment of Student Learning, Course Evaluation, and Academic Strategic Planning, as well as the encouragement of faculty professional development through activities such as the Scholars' Guild. OAA is committed to the development of habits of mind that contribute to student growth in Christlike Character, Academic Excellence, Creative Engagement, and Social Responsiveness.
