Each year NNU’s Office of Spiritual Formation plans Fall Revival, a three-day chapel emphasis aimed to rejuvenate the spiritual life of the entire campus. Guest speaker Dr. Richard Beck, professor and chair of the Department of Psychology at Abilene Christian University, focused his messages on love.
The SimMan is a high-tech mannequin that helps our nursing students implement and observe multiple processes and try to anticipate different things that could occur with a patient. We talked with senior nursing students who shared five ways that working with the SimMan has given them invaluable hands-on experience.
Monday evening, October 24, high school seniors, transfer students, and their parents are invited to file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2017 school year at a free event hosted by NNU. The FAFSA submission process can often be overwhelming, and NNU’s Financial Aid and Admissions Offices hope this event can answer questions that students and parents might have.
Performed by students in NNU’s opera workshop course and alumni, Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Suor Angelica” is the second opera in the trio known as “Il Trittico.” “Suor Angelica” tells the tragic story of noblewoman Sister Angelica who, after giving birth to an illegitimate son, was forced by her family to enter a convent.
