E-Learning Services, part of the School of Learning Resources, provides assistance to faculty, staff, and students to help maximize their online teaching and learning experience. We offer coaching in online course design as well as training for a variety of teaching applications used at NNU.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of E-Learning Services is to support the efforts of the NNU community to effectively use e-learning technologies in teaching and learning. We promote the use of the best practices in online education and providing excellent customer service.
Canvas is the newly implemented Learning Management System that Northwest Nazarene University uses to conduct fully online courses and to supplement face-to-face courses.
NNU licenses this plagiarism-detection software to encourage academic integrity. Support and training materials are available for both faculty and students.
E-Learning Services also provides assistance with a variety of other uses of technology, including the use of Microsoft Office, copyright and fair use issues, and the use of screen-capture software.

E-Learning Student Staff
E-Learning TAs are available to train faculty and adjuncts in course development using Canvas and other online technologies. To request assistance from an E-Learning TA please visit help.nnu.edu and fill out a new help request.
Technology and Media Resources
Our help desk is the department of Technology and Media Resources, which provides support to all employees and students regarding Canvas courses and user accounts, NNU email, computer access, phones and other applications. Frank Estell is the executive director of TMR.
