NNU STEP TUITION AND PROGRAM COSTS

Cohort Tuition

Program costs for the 2007/2008 STEP cohorts are $16,800 (face-to-face) and $18,800 (online), covering up to 64 credits including tuition, books, materials, student ID card, 16-month subscription to BusinessWeek magazine, and graduation fees.

An initial deposit of $150 (non-refundable) must be paid by:

August 1st (for September cohort),
April 1st (for the May cohort), and
December 1st (for January cohort).

Funds may be mailed to the STEP Office or phoned in using VISA or MasterCard. A place in the class will be held for the first 25 accepted students submitting the deposit. Additional qualified students submitting deposits will be placed on a waiting list.

The remaining tuition and fees may be paid using one of the following four payment plans, listed below.

Individual Course Tuition

Individual course rates are $285 (face-to-face) and $300 (online) per credit (includes tuition, books, and materials).  This rate applies to credits taken prior to entering a cohort, and for credits taken in excess of the 64 credits covered by the cohort program. 

Individual course tuition and fees may also be paid using one of the following four payment plans.

Payment Plans

Full Payment Plan

Full payment of tuition and fees due at registration.

Term Payment Plan

Full payment per course(s) due at the beginning of each term.

Monthly Payment Plan

The semester balance is paid in equal monthly dispersements, due on the 1st of the month.

Financial Assistance

Financial Aid: Application forms for Financial Aid (Stafford Loans) are available upon request or you may submit them electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov   Northwest Nazarene University’s School Code is 00-1624.  For more detailed information, please visit the Financial Aid pages.

Company Reimbursements: Many companies and businesses offer tuition reimbursement for their employees enrolled in accredited educational programs. Contact the personnel office at your place of employment for more information regarding this potential benefit.

Veterans Benefits:   If you are a veteran, you may qualify for one of the military tuition assistance programs.

Additional Information

A $10.00 charge will be assessed for each check returned Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF).

Costs for books are calculated for the entire program, not on a per course basis. If your employer's tuition reimbursement benefit does not cover the cost of books, handouts, or supplemental materials, allow $2,500 out of the $16,800 (face-to-face) or $18,800 (online) total program amount.
