Application Due Dates

Application material for a summer or fall start is due:  February 15
Application material for a spring start date is due:  September 15

Admission Interview

After all application materials are received, qualified applicants are required to call the Counselor Education office (208-467-8345 or 1-888-901-7366) to set up an interview for the program.  No interview will be set up until all application materials have been received.  The deadline for setting up interviews is five working days after the application materials deadline (February 15 or September 15).

The interview is designed to assist the faculty in determining the fit between the applicant and the program/profession.  Based upon available research and literature in counseling, the program seeks to admit students who best reflect key characteristics of effective counselors in the field.

Admission interviews take place in March and October.

Applicants will receive a letter informing them of admisson status about three weeks after the interview.

Financial Aid

Most graduate students apply for financial assistance.  Please visit the web pages of the FINANCIAL AID OFFICE for current information regarding applying for financial aid.

      dates,
 3) Be able to transfer class credits into a degree program when classes are
      taken prior to admission.
