Application material for a spring start date is due: September 15
After all application materials are received, qualified applicants are required to call the Counselor Education office (208-467-8345 or 1-888-901-7366) to set up an interview for the program. Admission interviews take place in March and October.
Applicants will receive a letter informing them of admisson status about three weeks after the interview.
Most graduate students apply for financial assistance. Please visit the web pages of the FINANCIAL AID OFFICE for current information regarding applying for financial aid.
Counseling applicants may complete a maximum of six credit hours at NNU before being admitted into the counseling program. The Counselor Education program at NNU does not guarantee, either directly or indirectly, that students who take Counselor Education classes prior to admission will:
1) Be admitted into the Counselor Education program,
2) Receive a refund of monies spent on classes beyond the regular refund
dates,
3) Be able to transfer class credits into a degree program when classes are
taken prior to admission.
Also, non-admitted students are not legally eligible to receive a student loan until they are officially admitted into a program.
If you have any questions concerning the application process or any of these requirements, please contact the Counselor Education Department at 208-467-8345 or 1-888--901-7366 or E-MAIL.
